The Emmitsburg Lions were privileged to have conducted 29 annual health fair/screenings for our extended community that included multiphasic blood screenings (MBS) complete with diagnostic services conducted by the Gettysburg Hospital. These events were always a huge success and typically served participants from a five county expanse of Maryland and Pennsylvania. Our 29th annual health screening event was held Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg and benefited nearly 250 participants.

Please note that while we are currently unable to host health screenings, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the many low-cost blood screenings scheduled throughout the year as community outreach programs of the Gettysburg Hospital.  Call WellSpan at 800-840-5905 Monday through Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm. for additional information.
