Doors open at 7 a.m.   Preschool Vision Screening at YMCA Head Start Centers.   October   Oct 1: Chicken barbecue fundraiser and communal yard sale at Tollgate Hill, RT15 Emmitsburg. All are welcome to bring and setup your own yard sale table(s). Customary donation of $5.00 per table.     Preschool Vision Screening at YMCA Head Start Centers.     Oct 29: Heritage Day fundraiser at Ambulance Hall. Details to be posted soon.   Oct 31: Halloween Night: Our traditional 6:00 p.m. parade and party for the children, ghosts, and goblins of Emmitsburg at the Vigilant Hose CO6 fire hall. Parade participants assemble at North Seton and DePaul.   November Nov 19: Bake sale at Jubilee. 8 a.m. until sold out.       December Dec 10: Our long standing Christmas Party for the Children of Emmitsburg, Hosted at the Vigilant Hose CO6 fire hall beginning 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Free for children of ALL ages! Crafts, Magic show, Food, and a visit by and a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.   Ongoing food drive campaign for Christmas Dinner "Baskets". Distribution day(s) of this Christmas assistance to our area's needy is TBA. We will assist well over 50 families who will be notified before delivery.
